From September to November, our wellness area invites you to unwind after an active day. Sauna, steam bath, aroma bath, Kneipp pool and a peaceful relaxation room provide the perfect place to recharge after hiking, cycling or spending the day at the lake.
Outside the wellness season, you can still enjoy your own moment of relaxation by booking our sauna as a private spa and experiencing the wellness area exclusively for yourself.

History of Hotel Badl
Hotel Badl in Caldaro has a long tradition, dating back to the 19th century when it was originally opened as a thermal spa. The name "Badl" comes from the local dialect term "Bad," meaning bath, reflecting the hotel’s origin as a wellness retreat centered around the area's healing hot springs.
Throughout the 20th century, the hotel expanded and modernized, transitioning from a thermal center to a luxury tourist destination. Over the years, it maintained its connection to the thermal traditions while incorporating modern amenities to meet the evolving needs of its guests.
Today, Hotel Badl blends the charm and history of its origins with modern comforts, offering a high-quality wellness, relaxation, and gastronomic experience in a prime location by Lake Caldaro.
