Conscious choices at Ansitz Angerburg
At Ansitz Angerburg in Appiano, we pay attention to the responsible use of energy, water, food and resources in our daily hotel operations. We have introduced a number of concrete measures covering energy, water, lighting, cleaning, the kitchen and our garden.
The electricity used at our hotel comes from renewable energy sources. We use solar energy for hot-water production and heating. In various areas of the hotel, we also use LED lighting.
Rainwater is collected and used for specific purposes in the hotel and garden areas. For cleaning, we carefully select products with appropriate certifications.
Regional and seasonal products
Responsible use of food is also important in our kitchen. Depending on the season and availability, we use fruit and vegetables from our own garden.
Whenever possible, we also choose regional and seasonal products from the surrounding area. This allows our cuisine at Ansitz Angerburg to remain closely connected to the landscape and agricultural products of South Tyrol.
