Wellness through water – at Das Badl
Our B&B Smart Retreat Das Badl in Caldaro is surrounded by the gentle vineyard landscapes of South Tyrol. Our name comes from a sulphur spring whose healing water was once used for inhalations, baths and herbal preparations. The spring has since dried up, but the idea behind it lives on.
Our wellness philosophy is still summed up by the motto: “Gesund durch Wasser” – health through water.
During your holiday, take some time to relax in our sauna oasis or enjoy a swim in our heated indoor pool. For an extra touch of relaxation, you can also book a massage treatment.
Our sauna world
Our sauna area is open from 11. September to 30 March , daily from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and is included in your stay.
Outside this period, you can book the sauna area exclusively as a Private Spa for an additional charge.

Our Sauna World
From September to March, access to the sauna world is included in your stay. During the rest of the year, you can book access to the sauna as an exclusive Private Spa experience for an additional charge.
The sauna area includes:
Rock crystal grotto with steam inhalation and natural aromas at 45°C
Caldaro sauna, made from local wood and heated to 90°C
Rustic Bauernbadl with herbal infusions from a Lagrein-wood barrel at 55°C
